- Sandwich ELISA: To detect hEMAP-II by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required
- This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human EMAP-II (500-P172G) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hEMAP-II
- Western Blot: To detect hEMAP-II by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL

- The precursor protein is identical to the p43 subunit, which is associated with the multi-tRNA synthetase complex, and it modulates aminoacylation activity of tRNA synthetase in normal cells
- This protein is also involved in the stimulation of inflammatory responses after proteolytic cleavage in tumor cells
- Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene
- A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 20.
