Description

• General description: Tris Buffered Saline, or TBS, pH 7.6 is a commonly used wash buffer that is isotonic and non-toxic and ideal for use in cell culture and electrophoresis applications.
• Application: Tris-buffered saline can be used as a wash buffer for: Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent assay (ELISA) Western Blot and other protein applications Suitable for use in cell culture (recommend to sterile filter) Immunohistochemistry Sample preparation Resuspension and sonication of cells

• Reconstitution: Contents of one pouch, when dissolved in 500 mL of ultrapure water, will yield a 1x solution containing 50 mM Tris, 138 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, pH 7.6 at 25 °C. Contents tested to be DNAse, RNAse, Protease, and Nickase free. This product is suitable for use in cell culture applications.
• Storage and Stability: Store at room temperature. Product may naturally agglomerate but can be simply broken up within the pouch prior to use.
