Description

  • Cultivate and enumerate Bacillus cereus in foods using Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Mannitol Egg Yolk Polymyxin Agar
  • It relies on the selective inhibitory component polymyxin and two indicator systems, mannitol and phenol red and egg yolk
  • Thus, the growth of many unwanted organisms is suppressed
  • It is recommended by the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) and the American Public Health Association (APHA)
