Description

  • The XD 7000 Spectrophotometer combines a state-of-the-art optical system with ease of use and flexibility for a wide range of testing applications
  • The user interface incorporates a variety of features, such as automatic test recognition and cuvette type detection, that are designed to prevent measurement errors, ensuring the accuracy of displayed results and save time
  • In addition to the standard range of Lovibond™ colorimetric testing methods, this instrument will provide users with the full range of functions that is required from a spectrophotometer including: Measurement of transmission and absorbance; Scanning of spectral data; Recording of kinetic measurements; and the Creation of measuring methods based on up to ten wavelengths with various mathematical operations
  • Method Detection Made Easy Avoid measurement errors due to accidently selecting the incorrect method and reagent combination
  • Tube Test reagents are labeled with a barcode for automatic test recognition while other test methods can be scanned with the optional barcode reader to bring users directly to the correct testing mode
  • Automatic Cuvette Type Detection Just like using the incorrect testing method and reagent combination can easily lead to measurement errors, using the wrong sample cell associated with a method also leads to incorrect results
  • Each Lovibond™ water quality testing method is associated with a type of sample cell - insert the incorrect one, and the instrument will stop the measurement process
  • Preprogrammed Testing Methods The XD Series is pre-programmed with over 150 testing methods that use Lovibond™ water quality reagents, making it an easy and efficient solution to implement in your laboratory
  • Don't waste time developing calibration curves or making your own testing solutions
  • Easy Access to new testing parameters and ranges Never have an outdated instrument again! As additional test methods become available, the new software update can be download from lovibond.com and installed on the instrument using a USB stick or PC connection
  • User Security for Data Protection It's easy to create up to three different user levels with password protection
  • Each user account can be assigned a level of access to ensure users only have access to what they need
  • Set Testing and Maintenance Parameters The XD Series supports analytical quality assurance procedures, including the ability to set measurement tolerances and reminders for calibration protocols
  • Intuitive User Interface Easy-to-read, full-color display with softkeys and integrated keyboard
  • Users can output data to a PCL-3 compatible printer, USB drive or via an Ethernet connection
  • Comprehensive support of analytical quality assurance Through a variety of smart instrument features and optional accessories, users will feel confident their results are correct
  • The instrument performs a comprehensive self-check each time it is powered on, and periodically performs status checks while the instrument remains on
  • Additionally, a variety of primary ValidCheck™ standards are available for method validation.
